Nice to meet you. I’m SeongDu Kang, but you can call me Denny. I graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2025 and, specialize in 3D animation and rigging.
My passion has always been for how characters move, such as how their motion can feel natural and emotionally expressive, even without dialogue. But then, I realized the more I learn, the more I understand the importance of the structure behind the character.
This allowed me to explore rigging, not just as a technical necessity, but to control my work entirely. I studied various rigging systems and workflows to become capable of handling both rigging and animation independently.
Through my thesis projects during college, I learned how valuable this knowledge could be in teamwork. Explained the rig functionality to non-riggers and confidently supported troubleshooting issues, which was a communicative work. These experiences shaped my approach to creative and technical challenges and strengthened my commitment to building thoughtful, efficient pipelines.

I’m also skilled in video editing and sound design. On top of that, I can take on a variety of 3D tasks including modeling, texturing, simulation, and visual effects as following 3D pipelines.

Thinking about characters coming to life just keeps me up at night. Never give up. Make it happen, and turn it into something I'm good at.
